Ross Weiner is the founder of Gemsco Capital and serves as President. Ross is a creative and thoughtful executive who has held diverse leadership positions in investment management, finance, capital markets, acquisitions, asset management, distressed and opportunistic investing, and advisory services. Ross has been integral in directing, overseeing and executing more than $5 Billion in principal investment transactions of real estate assets & securities, in the US and Internationally, in virtually every sector of the real estate industry.
Ross has also been involved in the execution of more than $2 billion in capital advisory transactions including equity and debt financings, preferred equity, mezzanine debt, CMBS. restructuring, distressed, and other complex matters.
This high level experience in both principal and advisory transactions, involving all asset classes and several real estate cycles, enables Ross to provide valuable leadership, strategy and insight to partners, investors, clients and other industry participants.
